Your journey, explained before you begin.

Most apps drop you straight into a dashboard. Awaaz shows you the whole path first, so you know what each step involves and which ones you can skip.

1Optional

Discover

Explore what Awaaz can and cannot do, without creating anything or recording your voice.

  • Read how the Speech Check works and see a sample profile.
  • Try the interface in Urdu or English.
  • Awaaz does not diagnose and does not replace a speech-language therapist.

Get to know your speech

The guided Speech Check: a short set of words, one at a time, with a microphone test first.

  • A reasonably quiet room makes recordings easier to analyse.
  • You can pause, leave and come back.
  • If a recording can’t be analysed, you’ll be asked to try again rather than given a guess.
3Optional

Explore your results

My Speech Profile shows what the check could observe for each supported sound, and what it couldn’t.

  • Observations come with the number of recordings behind them.
  • Automated feedback describes patterns in a few recordings, not a diagnosis.
  • If anything worries you, the profile explains when talking to a professional may help.
4Needed to practise

Find your practice routine

Choose at least one goal and Awaaz suggests a few activities for it. You can also start from goals you set yourself or a plan from your therapist.

  • Every suggestion says why it was made.
  • You decide how long sessions are.
  • Activities move from listening, to words, to short phrases.
5Optional

Build a habit

Brief, regular sessions tend to fit real life better than long ones. Missing a day is normal and nothing is lost.

  • No streaks that punish a missed day.
  • Sessions end with a short summary and a clear place to stop.
  • Come back after a break and pick up where you left off.
6Optional

Review your journey

Your activity history, the recordings you chose to save, your own reflections and any notes you choose to share.

  • History stays on your device.
  • Activity and automated observations are always shown separately.
  • Print or save a report when you want to share it.

Never required

  • Sharing a recording with anyone
  • Linking a therapist
  • Joining a community
  • Taking part in research

Celebrating milestones

Awaaz recognises effort and consistency, not speed. Everyone moves at their own pace.

  • Your first practice session
  • Your first week with recorded practice
  • Finishing a learning sequence you chose
  • Reviewing a personal goal
  • A milestone you set yourself

Completing activities is not the same as mastering a sound, so Awaaz never declares a sound “mastered” on its own.
