Using everyday words in practice

Words from daily life make practice feel meaningful, as long as it stays light.

Practice words feel more useful when they come from daily life: food, family names, toys, places you go. Once a word has been practised in Awaaz, you can notice it together in daily life.

  • Point out the word when you see the thing, without asking for a repeat.
  • Say the word clearly yourself, so your child hears a good model.
  • Keep corrections for practice time, not for every conversation.
