Awaaz is designed for structured home practice of specific sounds in Urdu and English. It works on the client’s own device and does not require you to create an account.

Sharing a plan

Use Create a plan link on the For therapists page. Choose the practice language, specific words and phrases, a suggested frequency and your instructions. The plan is encoded inside the link and never stored by Awaaz.

What clients see

Your activities appear under Therapist-assigned in the client’s Practice tab, attributed to the name you entered, with your instructions shown before practice.

What the scoring can and cannot do

  • It reports whether the target phone was recognised in a recording, and what was heard instead when clear.
  • It is not calibrated for children’s or disordered speech, and has not been evaluated against clinician judgements.
  • Percent scores are not shown to clients. Please treat any observation as a prompt for your own judgement.
